It sounds like a joke. What ate the dinosaurs? But the Deinosuchus, a fifty foot crocodile that could jump the length of its own body, was certainly not funny. This is undoubtedly Nigel's most dangerous mission. Even he has never handled a reptile this big before, so he prepares himself by working with modern alligators at the Prehistoric Park. When he returns to the past he is all too aware that this is perhaps his biggest challenge, yet he still finds time for fascination and enthusiasm for such a wonderful creature, and a determination to help it survive.
