Prehistoric Park (04/06) Saving The Sabertooth

The Sabre Tooth Tiger was actually the Sabre Tooth Cat but either way, it is high on the list of animals to save. Having been separated for millions of years, North America and South America have collided, and it is the South American creatures that are losing out. Nigel and big cat expert Saba have to travel back a mere hundred thousand years in South American history to study the Cat in its natural habitat. They realise that, ironically, it is the distinctive teeth that will bring about the Sabre Tooth's downfall. They are highly specialised hunting tools and their prey is dying out.
