Born To Kill - Fred West

Over a period of around 20 years, Fred West abducted, tortured, sexually assaulted and murdered at least a dozen girls. Many of the victims lay buried in his garden at 25 Cromwell Street, Gloucester, until the police dug them up. He was aided in these horrific crimes by his wife, Rosemary. This unsettling but fascinating documentary looks at the lives of serial killers Fred and Rosemary West and examines possible motivations. Was Fred’s murderous intent triggered by a motorcycle head injury? Did Rosemary’s dependence on older men leave her prone to her husband’s sick fantasies? The documentary also asks if anything went wrong in the couple’s childhoods that in turn led them to commit their crimes. Fred West committed suicide in his cell while awaiting trial for murder, leaving behind many unanswered questions.
