Tommy Cooper - Episode 5

The classic 1970s comedy show continues its rib-tickling run of anarchy and silliness, with absolute chaos being barely held in check by one of the great British comedians. The way he continually lures in guest stars willing to risk their reputations by appearing in sketches with him is a phenomenon all by itself. In episode 5 the typically chaotic sketch concerns a family who are hard-pushed to keep up their stately home, and so they have to resort to some very odd ways to make ends meet. Meanwhile Diddy David Hamilton interviews Tommy in-depth, and swiftly gets out of his depth (as usual) while Lynsey De Paul wisely steers well clear of danger by performing a song from way over on one side of the studio.
