One of the best comedy shows of the seventies is now available to download. In this second episode the great Tommy Cooper shows off his madcap genius. His opening routine alone features a table trick, a rope trick, a rabbit trick, a flower and vase trick, a paper bag trick, a card trick and a jacket and shirt trick. “I work so fast,” explained Tommy at the time, “Not only do I defy anyone to see how a trick is done, I defy anyone to see a trick.” And if that’s not enough, there’s a great sketch featuring Michael Robbins and Brian Pettifer, a song from the band Reflections, and another interview with Diddy David Hamilton.
