In this classic ‘80s sitcom, Maureen Lipman plays widow Sheila Haddon, whose husband neglected to bother with life insurance. This leaves her grieving and also struggling to pay the mortgage. Fiercely independent, Sheila decides to take in some young lodgers and pressgangs her 20-year-old student daughter Monica into finding them. Before long, her modest house is crammed with art student Carol, a doctor called Henry, as well as Chris, Hamish, Candy and Frankie. When you put this many eccentrics into one small dwelling, hilarious hijinks are certain to follow.
