Cinderella Story

This is a hilarious high school take on everyone’s favourite fairy-tale. High school senior Sam (Hilary Duff) has a miserable life. Her mean stepmother Fiona works her hard at the family’s diner and she is picked on by her two cruel step-sisters. Things are no better at school where her tomboyish attitude makes her unpopular with the other girls, especially super-bitch Shelby Cummings. When she strikes up an online relationship with a mysterious prince charming she is overjoyed and arranges to meet him at the school dance, not realising that he is the high school’s star quarterback Austin Ames (Chad Michael Murray). Unfortunately, she has to cut her date short to rush back to the diner. In her haste, she drops her cell phone and Austin vows to find out who his Cinderella really is.
