Polar Express

Based on a best-selling American children’s story, The Polar Express is a spectacular combination of festive magic and cutting-edge computer animation. Masterfully directed by Robert Zemeckis (Forrest Gump, Cast Away), the film recounts the story of a young boy who is convinced that Santa Claus does not exist. One Christmas Eve the doubting boy, hoping that he might hear the sound of sleigh bells, instead hears the roar and whistle of an approaching steam engine. When he leaves the house to investigate, the train’s conductor (voiced by Tom Hanks) invites him aboard the Polar Express. The boy is transported on a magical journey to the North Pole accompanied by a carriage full of other young non-believers. An enchanting tale, beautifully told with some spectacular set-pieces.
