Beetlejuice

Goth comedy classic from director Tim Burton, the master of dark and twisted modern day fairytales. But when they turn to unhinged bio-exorcist Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) to get rid of the family, their problems only multiply. Beetlejuice’s methods become so volatile that when Lydia Deetz befriends the ghosts, they decide to side with her in a bid to send Beetlejuice back to where he came. Burton’s surreal comedy horror is a masterpiece of low-budget effects and boundless creativity and introduces us to his unique brand of suburban surrealism. There’s even a touch of trademark Burton stop-motion animation on show. Bizarre.
