Tim Burton is one of the world's most interesting directors and Mars Attacks! is a good example of why he has been so successful. His affectionate tribute to 1950s sci-fi B-movies is never less than outrageously entertaining. Burton’s outrageous comedy features as impressive a cast as you’re likely to come across.
