Action-horror blockbuster based on the brilliant DC/Vertigo Hellblazer comic books. Stars Keanu Reeves as the exorcist John Constantine, with support from Rachel Weisz as a policewoman and Tilda Swinton as an angel, Gabriel. Heaven and Hell are in competition to see which will win the most human souls. John Constantine committed suicide as a teenager. He was resuscitated, but spent two horrific minutes officially dead – and in Hell. Constantine now walks the Earth amongst the demons and angels. He has spent his life since his attempted suicide trying to win back God's favour. However, he has lung cancer and it won’t be long before he dies. Given the number of demons he has slain during his lifetime, Constantine knows that his is the only soul Satan will leave Hell to collect personally.
