Using motion capture technology Robert Zemeckis has brought the legend of Beowulf to life, modelling the characters facial features on the actors portraying them, featuring Antony Hopkins, John Malkovich, Crispin Glover, Brendan Gleeson and Angelina Jolie as the monster Grendel's Mother.
Although the tale may have been written in the 8th century, the directors cut contains many shocking images and scenes of intense action. Definitely not to be missed!
