The region is located in southern Spain, running along the Mediterranean coastline of Malaga and Cádiz, and includes the towns of Torremolinos, Fuengirola and Marbella. The name translates as ‘sunny coast’. In the last few decades the Costa del Sol has beome a tourist resort of world renown, particularly with golf enthusiasts.
