Join Arthur Read, the bespectacled eight-year-old aardvark, in the hit US animated show adapted from the popular books by Marc Brown. Arthur deals with all sorts of children’s issues that are part of growing up, from bullies and horrible siblings (like Arthur’s sister DW) to school popularity. In the first story, Fern dares Arthur and his friends to enter a poetry competition judged by the famous Jack Prelutsky. In the second story, Arthur and his friends are crazy for Scare-Your-Pants-Off books, a series of spine-tingling ghost stories written just for kids. They’re so popular that the local library has to make people line up to read them! But with popularity comes PAWS, the Parents Against Weird Stories. Will PAWS get the books banned for being too scary or will Arthur’s Scare-Your-Pants-Off Club save the day?
