This madcap animated series is based on a popular comic strip and follows a band of misfit wild animals on the African Freeborn Wildlife Preserve. In these wild adventures you’ll meet Lyle the vegetarian pizza-eating lion; Dodo, the last of the legendary flightless birds; Eugene, a childish elephant; Gnu, the hopeless but likeable leader of the herd and Lana, Lyle’s love interest and the only one of them with an ounce of sense. In It's a Date, Lyle realises he’s getting nowhere with Lana and takes the drastic step of using a dating agency. In Bully for Wooly, the animals defrost an ancient woolly mammoth. As the excitement surrounding this new arrival reaches fever pitch, Lyle begins to wonder why there's so much fuss.
