Animal Crackers - High Gnu in & Eu-Genial

This madcap animated series is based on a popular comic strip and follows a band of misfit wild animals on the African Freeborn Wildlife Preserve. In these wild adventures you’ll meet Lyle the vegetarian pizza-eating lion; Dodo, the last of the legendary flightless birds; Eugene, a childish elephant; Gnu, the hopeless but likeable leader of the herd and Lana, Lyle’s love interest and the only one of them with an ounce of sense. In the first story, Rowland the water buffalo repeatedly challenges Gnu for the position of herd leader. Despite his attempts to avoid a fight, Gnu eventually confronts Rowland. In the second story, Eugene can’t quite pull it off when he tries his hardest to be nice. His attempts at being a good guy simply cause more problems.
