Happy Feet

A musical, eco-friendly animated tale that teaches children the fragility of nature while making them laugh and sing too. In Antarctica, Emperor Penguin society depends on every bird finding their mate through the music of their unique heartsong. But what happens when a penguin doesn’t have a heartsong? This is the story of Mumble, a misfit penguin who’d rather dance than sing. While the elder penguins see this dance craze as a threat to their whole society, a greater threat emerges when the colony’s fish supply dries up. When everyone ignores the threat of starvation and cast Mumbles out, he sets off with a small band of misfit friends to investigate the cause of the disappearing fish. This thought-provoking and often dazzling film is an animated feature like no other.
